ECOLOGY THROUGH ART/ART THROUGH ECOLOGY
Workshop at Trondheim Academy of Fine Art, 15-17 February
This is a 3-day group workshop exploring the relationship between art & ecology. Participants
will be encouraged to refl ect on what form an ecological practice might take, and test this in
response to the wider Trondheim context. The workshop aims to support the development of
individual and collaborative art practice in response to the exhibition «More Than This». The
resulting ideas and material from the three days will be presented at Gallery kit at the end of
the workshop. The workshop is led by Justin Carter, Glasgow School of Art.

The workshop is arranged in relation to the touring exhibition «More than this» at Gallery kit,Trondheim Academy of Fine Art 10- 25 February. One of the aims of the workshop is to find models of extending the discourse of the exhibition.

Justin Carter graduated from the mfa programme at Glasgow School of Art and now teaches
in the Department of Environmental Art and Sculpture in Glasgow. He was momart Fellow
at Tate Liverpool in 2002, Berwick Gymnasium Fellow in 2003, and has made special
commissions for the Whitstable Biennale 2004, and Aichi Expo’ 2005. He recently showed
work at rmit Space Melbourne and in 2006 was given a Bright Sparks Award to develop
‘Renewable Devices for Art and Ecology’.

this is very good post and the information contained is very much relevant and useful. i like such information and always prefer to read this, but these days I HAVE NOT SUFFICIENT TIME BECAUSE I AM BUSY IN MY cisco exams tat will come to an end this month.
